What is Don Jitsu Ryu?

Don Jitsu Ryu is one of the most practical and complete Martial Arts fighting systems. Modern in concept yet ancient in orgin, it blends well with many of the traditional Martial Arts Styles such as Karate, Kung Fu, TaeKwonDo, Judo, Ju Jitsu and Weaponry which has established it as one of the world's best fighting systems.

The Don Jitsu Ryu System was developed by Grandmaster Soke Professor Don Jacob over 5 decades ago. Born in Trinidad, he now holds a 9th Degree Black belt and is one of the most decorated and respected Martial Artists in the world today.

We are Purple Dragon Karate Dojo Located in Tequesta, Florida, USA serving the Village of Tequesta,Town of Jupiter, Juno Beach, City of Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter Island, Hobe Sound, since 2001. We believe in the greatness of our students.
